Host / Hostess

We are a fine dining Italian restaurant on the outskirts of Highland Park, seeking an experienced host/hostess for 4 nights a week: Monday - Wednesday & Saturday nights. Our crew is friendly with a teamwork mindset. The host is a critical part of our restaurant's operation, and we would love an enthusiastic new face.

Job requirements:

• Expertise with Resy reservation system
• Ability to multitask
• 2+ years hosting experience

Job responsibilities:

• Greeting guests.
• Taking and managing reservations.
• Managing a wait-list.
• Communicating wait times to guests.
• Managing the seating chart.
• Seating guests and distributing menus.
• Ensuring even cover distribution among servers.
• Delegating to-go orders.
• Confirming reservations.

Hours are 5pm-9pm on Monday-Wednesday, and 5pm-9:30pm on Saturday.
